Work

Here you will find details about my work process and deliverables.

Nordstrom

Remote (2022 - Present)

Nordstrom is a leading fashion retailer that has offered compelling clothing, shoes and accessories for men, women and kids since 1901. I was originally hired as a UX Designer 2 on the Brands and Events team supporting both the Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack brands. I now work on the Design Language System team creating the components used by the design and engineering teams to build the Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack web, mobile, and app experiences.

Grainger

Chicago, IL (2019 - 2022)

Grainger is a broad line, business-to-business distributor of maintenance, repair and operating (MRO) supplies and other related products and services. More than 3.2 million businesses and institutions worldwide rely on Grainger for products such as safety gloves, ladders, motors and janitorial supplies, along with services like inventory management and technical support. I was originally hired as a UX Designer to help build an internal knowledge-management tool from scratch. I am now working on adaptive redesigns of the Registration and Order History experiences on Grainger.com.

Thomson Reuters

Ann Arbor, MI (2017 - 2019)

Thomson Reuters is the world’s leading provider of news and information-based tools to professionals. One of the arms of the business delivers technology and advisory services for accounting professionals in the US. I worked as a UX Designer transitioning legacy desktop software products into the company’s cloud suite, Onvio.

ForeSee

Ann Arbor, MI (2012-2017)

ForeSee was founded in 2001 as a research initiative at the University of Michigan using a science-based methodology for measuring and improving the customer experience. I started there as an intern, as part of my master’s program, where I helped redesign the company intranet. I was then hired full-time after graduation. As a Usability Analyst, I conducted heuristic evaluations of websites and apps for my clients and presented recommendations to improve usability.
